Fun Finds...

Look what I found today...not one but 2 aqua glass Delco Battery Cases.  Now I don't know much about these and I'm not much of a "research girl"...but I did find this in on the Delco Light Colloectors Website.

I'm already "dreaming" about all the fun ways I can use them.

And I'm not sure but I'm guessing that I got a steal at $3.99 a piece!  If any of you out there in Blog land have any fun ideas or additional information on these pretties...do share :)

Happy Thrifting my friends!

  6. Laurel,
I have seen thewse before. They were priced between 30-35 dollars each. They dress them as you would old fish tanks. They are really wonderful. I am sure Sue will see some at Marburger Farm. Great find!!!

  8. Great find Laurel. A bit envious I might add. ;) And you didn't even have to go to an Occasional Sale and pay a lot more for them either. Very cool!
I could see a summer beach theme inside one of these. A collection of smooth rocks and drift wood with a nest, or shells, sand, etc. Natural elements..

  17. Hey girl! I have one of these and fill my with old door knobs and door plates most of the year but at Christmas time I fill it with large bulbs that had burned out from a string of lights. Love mine!
